Another week closer to Christmas and the advent calendars are already starting to feel lighter! We’ve also got another weekly round-up and update of what’s going on in and around Oakley Vale.
Christmas Carols
Oakley Vale musicians, Judy Caine and Paul Balmer, performed Christmas carols at the Great Oakley Village Christmas Fayre and will be doing it again this weekend!
They’ll be joined by Aimee Coy and Karl Balmer and will be performing from 5:30pm at the clubroom at Coronation Park on the 11th December.
Corby Christmas Market
Corby Christmas Market kicks off later this month – 17th December. You can find who is attending and more on their Facebook event page here.
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club
Oakley Vale Estates has announced it will continue its partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club next season, with sponsorship of the club’s under 13 team.

Corby Community Safety Partnership
The Corby Community Safety Partnership has opened a store in New Post Office Square. They’ll be there until Saturday 17th December where you can have your say on neighbourhood priorities and get information on anything from health to e-safety. They’ll also be holding a ‘Crafternoon’ on 12th December between 1 and 3pm where people can get crafty in aid of the mental health charity Mind.

Corby Amateur Theatre
Corby’s Amateur Theatre Society is putting on a stellar pantomime in the New Year! They’ll be performing Cinderella from the 4th January until the 8th. You can find out more here.
