Happy Friday! As always we were faced with another weather check this week. We hope Storm Doris didn’t cause you too many problems on your travels and that you managed to keep your hats on and your umbrellas firmly on the ground!
We have some news to share with you this week which includes some additions to our website! We’re keeping a few under wraps but the first we can announce will be a new Events Calendar! We will be filling this each month with events, clubs and gatherings in Oakley Vale. So if you have a one-off event or weekly class you’re looking to get started then now is the time to let us know! If you’ve missed the sound of drum machines, synthesisers and the sight of rolled up blazers and flamboyant hairstyles then the Great Oakley Cricket Club is the place to be on Saturday. They’re holding a Back To The 80s night from 8pm til late – with FREE admission!
Or perhaps a bit of Latin flare for a good cause is what you’re after – in which case make your way to the Oakley Vale Community Centre for Venture Autism’s Latin Night! There’ll be live music from local musicians, some professional dancers to teach you the ropes and all topped off with some delicious Latin American food – what more could you ask for? Get down from 7pm!
