Our new Photo Competition – Your chance to win £50!

Happy Friday folks!

We’re ready for the weekend and hope you are too and we’ve got some exciting news to bring you this week. How would you like the chance to win £50 just for taking a picture of Oakley Vale?

Well we are re-launching our Photo Competition in a new format that will allow you to do just that. Not only will the winner take home £50 – but £50 will also be donated to the great Oakley Vale Community Association for the Community Centre which we know puts on some great classes and events within the community.

Oakley Vale is a growing community that benefits from some truly beautiful surroundings and activities. We want to try and celebrate these aspects of Oakley Vale from the local wildlife and nature to our community events and more. The first theme for the competition, which will be launched next week, is Wintertime in Oakley Vale – you can interpret this theme in whatever way you choose.

The competition will be open to people of all ages and abilities – so if you don’t take pictures often, don’t let that scare you! Once we have had our submissions through then the public will be able to vote on their favourite through our website and social media.

So get snapping on your next walk or event and get those pics ready – there’ll be more info next week. If you have any questions you can contact us on Facebook or Twitter or email info@wpe.spd.agency.

Now a quick look at some events coming up over the next week:

Pay & Play Anytime – All through December @ Corby Smash Table Tennis – Come and play with a friend in daytimes, evenings or weekends. Look at the Corby Smash website for exact opening times. – http://www.corbysmashttc.co.uk/
