After a short break we’re back with our weekly blog and it’s a very special one on which to return.
That’s right, if you haven’t already guessed, we’re here to announce the Winner of our latest Photo Competition!

But first we have to give a shout out to all of those who entered our Photo Competition this time around. We had some truly wonderful entries and the response continues to surprise us and remind us of the community spirit and creativity in Oakley Vale.
Of all the entries, our closest entries to the winner came from Emma Evans and Claire Sager – who each supplied brilliant entries. Take a look at them below:
The Winner!
Finally, we can announce our winner. It comes from Jill Raher, who lives at Violet Close in Oakley Vale. Her appropriately coloured entry shows Oakley Vale perfect in the blooms of Spring. The houses in the background only, we think, help to enhance the picture – showing that the beauty of nature is rarely more than a few steps from our door.
