What a beautiful day it has been today, and it looks like we might be in for the first bout of barbecue weather this year over the weekend! For some of us that means taking the scouring pad to a few grills this afternoon.

One thing is for sure though, April is truly here and there’s a lot to get up to this month. Take a look below for some highlights coming up:

  • Try your hand at fishing! – This one’s great for the kids. Run by Corby Junior Angling Club in conjunction with Corby Borough Council.  Monday 10th April is for Juniors 7 – 11 years and Tuesday 11th is for Seniors 12 – 16 years.  Come along and give it a try.  £1 per hour.  Spaces are limited.  Please call Richard on 07402 820698 to book.
  • We’re Stuck! Ever got terribly stuck on a problem?  Ever made a stupid mistake and felt like a fool?  Brilliant!  Then this show is for you. Join us on a special tour deep into the heart of Volcano Industries where you can explore top-secret research laboratories and meet cutting edge scientists struggling with some unusual and extremely tricky problems. • Etta James – At Last – The smash-hit show, At Last – The Etta James Story starring the sensational Vika Bull tells the story of the troubled soul legend’s turbulent life. It’s coming to Corby theatre on April 11th. Get tickets.
