Park Gardens, Psychics, Pareidolia and more!…

Hey folks! We’re back to our #FridayFeeling after an early blog post last week. We hope you had a beautiful Easter weekend – it’s always a great time to get away from work and see family and friends.

There was plenty to do last weekend and little has changed this week – there’s still so much to explore and do before the end of April. You can see a full list of events on our calendar. We have also begun adding dates for May, with some really great events coming to Oakley Vale and Corby. Here’s the highlights to come in April.

Our Woods – Pareidolia – Sat 22nd – Pareidolia is a psychologist’s term for the brain’s tendency to detect forms and faces in nature where none exist. Artist Matt Westbrook takes us on a walking ‘safari’ around King’s Wood nature reserve, one of Corby’s oldest woods, that will shine a light on the shadowy recesses of human perception and artistic creativity. Tickets are £5.50. Read more and buy them here.

Psychic & Clairvoyant Fair – Sun 23rd – Some of the best Psychics and Clairvoyants from the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire areas will be attending this fair on Sunday. Read more.

Deene Park Gardens Open – Sun 23rd – Deene Park is proud to support the National Garden Scheme Gardens Open for Charity and will be opening their gardens to the public on 23rd April with all entrance fees going to the National Garden Scheme charity. The gardens and the Old Kitchen Tea Room will be open from 12pm until 4:30pm. The House will be open from 2pm until 5pm, with the last admission at 4pm. Read more here.

Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club – Fri 28th – Don’t miss this Friday night comedy club in The Lab. Sit back enjoy many of comedy’s rising stars in a relaxed and informal setting with its own pop up bar. Book Tickets.

There’s plenty more coming up which you can find on our Calendar. If you have an event, club or class that you want to shout about send us an email (info@wpe.spd.agency) or message us on Twitter or Facebook. Until then have a great weekend!
