Happy Friday folks! Another week passes us by and its been a busy one. We’ve got a couple of things to update you on!
We were thrilled to see a couple of new residents to the Oakley Vale area get in touch with us this week with questions about the area and looking for some information. We posted the questions to our social media pages and the people of Oakley Vale really came together to help out, so thank you.
One of those questions was regarding Oakley Vale Football Club, which a few people have struggled to find info about. Thanks to everyone’s help we made contact with Tommy Cargill who is the club Chairman. If you’re after a club to play for then you can give him a call on 07831669552.
Another question this week has been about places in and around Oakley Vale to see live music and bands – which is a great query. We’ve already a host of responses! Harpers Brook Pub, our local haunt, often has live music – including tonight when Live Duo Scarlet Mist are performing from 9pm til late!
Others that have been sent our way include The Raven Hotel, Corby Social & Ex Servicemen’s Club, The Cardigan Arms, and The Jamb – so give them a search if you’re after some local live music this summer.
