It’s the 1st of September – which means Summer is in it’s final stages 🙁 and soon the kids will be back in school.
Another congratulations to the GCSE and A Level students who collected results this past month. We hope you got what you were hoping for and if not we promise it’s not the end of the world!
We wanted to reiterate that Lakeland Hopsice has begun offering a bereavement service, in an effort to support those struggling with loss. The group is open to those bereaved in the Corby and surrounding areas (adults only) and meetings will be on Wednesdays, in the afternoon one week and the evening the following week (alternate weeks thereafter):
Afternoon meetings 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Evening meetings 6.00pm – 8.00pm
The first group meeting is next Wednesday 6th September at 1.00pm at the Hospice. To let them know that you wish to join, please contact the hospice on 01536 747755 and ask to speak to Tracy or Lynn.

Summer Social @ Rockingham Speedway – 7th Sept – Another great season of Rockingham’s Summer Social Car Meets comes to an end on September, 7. Whether you want to hit the track for a couple of hours; take part in the Sprint Challenge or just park up and enjoy the banter – this is the last chance!
750 Motor Club Car Race Weekend @ Rockingham Speedway – 9th & 10th Sept – Split over two days, 750 Motor Club boasts some of the largest grids on the British club scene and is renowned for producing good, clean racing. It prides itself on being both accessible and affordable to competitors and spectators alike!
Corby Carve Up! @ Adrenaline Alley – 9th & 10th Sept – The carnage starts Saturday with Inline and Scooter qualifiers and Jams then continues on Sunday with the scooter finals, BMX park, dirt and vert jams. Live bands, inflatables and a pig roast will be outside on the plazza throughout the 2 days (weather permitting). Get tickets here.
