Volunteer openings and an adrenaline filled weekend!

Happy Friday everyone!

It’s been a busy week and we’re happy to see the weekend – and there’s plenty to be doing to keep the adrenaline up and relieve some stress – whether it’s carving up the ramps, or busting out a tune with your own live band!

Before we let you know about what’s going on this weekend we wanted to let you know about Lakeland Hospice’s continued volunteering opportunities. The hospice is always looking for volunteers across all aspects of the charity. So whether you have previous experience in some area of the work they do – or if you’re a novice who just wants to help in whatever way they can – they’d love your help! You can contact Marina Rae, Community Fundraiser, on at marinarae@lakelandshospice.org.uk.

Now to the latest things to do in the area! We’re continuing to add to our What’s On calendar for the months ahead so don’t forget to let us know if you have an event that you’re putting on – whether it’s ticketed or free – and we’d love to shout about it! We can add it to our calendar and publicise it on our Facebook / Twitter. Email us on info@wpe.spd.agency or contact us through social media.

Here’s what’s on this weekend – some real action-packed events:
