Happy Friday everyone – we hope you’ve got that Friday feeling this week,
There’s lots to talk about but don’t forget that we have good links with our friends at Allison and Barratt Homes are involved in housing developments within Oakley Vale as our community grows. You can view Allison Homes’ Oakley Rise development here and Barratt Homes’ Lyveden Fields development here.
Allison Homes will actually having a show home opening on the weekend of Halloween (spooky!) and we’ll keep you posted with more information as it comes through. If you do have any questions or are interested in a home then get in touch with us on info@wpe.spd.agency or via our Facebook or Twitter.
In other news we wanted to give a little shout out to our local academy, Brooke Weston. Fitness instructor Natalie Hannah from Brooke Weston gym took on the 12k Uventure Mud Run complete with 48 challenging obstacles. Natalie, who also works as a science technician at the school, did the race with six team mates, including her husband. They completed the course in three hours 45 minutes!
The Academy celebrated an outstanding set of exam results again this year and you can read about both their GCSE and A Level results on their website.
The good news doesn’t end there either – you may have spotted a post we retweeted earlier this week. A new café has opened in Oakley Vale, just next door to our Tesco Express – with some delicious food, and drinks. Definitely give them a try! You can follow them on Twitter here.
Now after all that, let’s see what’s on this weekend! Don’t forget to visit our calendar to get the most up to date events:
