Spooky Spectacular Round-Up!

Happy Friday everyone!

We’ve got a special spooky round up this week! Lot’s of exciting events coming up as we approach Halloween!

But first, did you take part in the big campaign this week? Corby Council’s neighbourhood management, culture & leisure and environmental services teams, along with the police safer communities team, joined forces to make the borough safer, cleaner and greener. Let us know if you did get involved! – this is certainly something that affects local residents and is a concern to most people across the country!

Now here’s a look at some particularly frightening events coming up over the next week!

Halloween Fun @ Rockingham Castle – 24th – 26th Oct – The witches of Rockingham are gathering to celebrate Halloween for the first time in centuries! Come and take part in the spooky pumpkin activities they have been planning. A fun day out for all the family. Get tickets.

Pumpin Carving @ East Carlton Country Park – 27th Oct – The following pumpkin carving sessions will take place in the Woodland Workshop.  Each session is a maximum of 10 children.  £4 per child. Halloween All-Nighter @ Adrenaline Alley – 27th Oct – Something creepy is happening on Friday 27th October, get down to the Alley to find out what. Get in from the cold and ride all night from 10pm through to 8am. There’ll be the usual mix of jams and things going on through the night. Prices: £25 for standard members, £18 for gold members.

Corby & Migration – Rooftop Arts Centre – 18th – 28th Oct. – A project highlighting the importance of the urban woodlands in Corby, the birds that pass through them and the fluctuating populations of species. Corby & Migration is an exhibition of 10 bird paintings and bird song and public workshops at the Rooftop Art Centre, Corby from the 18th – 28th October, 11am – 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Follow the event page.
