Another week, another blog. We hope your week has treated you well – and if not, well that’s what weekend’s are for!
If you haven’t already then do go back and have a read of our blog from last week when we addressed the Oakley Vale’s problems around speed awareness and some reckless driving in the area. This is a really important issue in our community and we would hate to ever see someone seriously injured or even killed as a result of someone ignoring the speed limits on our road that, in the end, are there for a reason.
It is amazing that February is already almost over?! But this means that our photo competition is even closer to being finished. So please do cast your vote for your favourite picture that has been submitted – all it takes is a click! We’ve had some beautiful new additions to our line-up so get voting!
Before you know it it will be time for a new Photo Competition and we’d love to hear your ideas for what the theme could be next time – maybe Springtime? Or maybe something more specific? Let us know!

Jonathan Pie Live @ Corby Cube – TONIGHT – Jonathan Pie returns to the stage in 2018 with a brand new live show following a sell-out tour ending at The London Palladium, a show that was described as “electrifying” (Chortle), “blistering” (Evening Standard) and “desperately misjudged”.
Snowdrop Walks @ Deene Park – Sun 18th – Sun 25th – Deene Park invites you to wrap up warm and enjoy a spring walk through the blankets of snowdrops which cover the magical woodlands of their grounds. Complete your visit with a stop at the Old Kitchen Tea Room for light refreshments! Find out more.
