Happy Thursday everyone!
It’s a slightly earlier blog this week and for good reason – it’s Easter Weekend! We hope you all have lovely plans for the Easter holidays with family and friends. We’ve got a little reminder on some positive news coming from Oakley Vale and then a bumper ‘What’s On?’ this week with an Easter focus:
New Outdoor Areas at Oakley Vale Primary School
We touched on a nice story in local education last week as Oakley Vale Primary School are creating some new outdoor spaces at the school!
Work is beginning during these Easter holidays and the environments they’re creating will provide children with experience and opportunities to develop skills in all aspects of the curriculum, in particular: English, Maths and knowledge and understanding of the world through independence, challenge (both physically and mentally), enquiry and investigation.
You can see a host of images of the plans for the new areas on the schools’s website. Don’t forget you can also read our profile of Emma Goodwin, the Principal of Oakley Vale Primary School, right here.
What’s On this Easter?
As the end of March closes in that means Easter is close too! Here’s a quick overview of somethings going on over Easter for the kids – we’ll have a full round-up next week!
