Charity initiatives in and around Oakley Vale

Throughout the Easter period, there have been lots of charitable activities taking place across Oakley Vale. We will be delving into some of the remarkable work that has taken place recently.

  • The Rising Sun Riders took part in a Motorcycle ride on Easter Sunday in an act of inspiration and selflessness. The group drove through Rushden, Corby, and Kettering, finishing at Northampton General Hospital. They very generously delivered Easter Eggs to children at the hospital, an inspiration to us all! For more information on the group, visit their Facebook page HERE.

  • Students and staff at Beanfield Primary School in Corby, have very kindly donated 60 Easter Eggs to the Corby Rise homeless charity. This act of warm-heartedness follows up from when the school supported the charity during the Christmas period, where they created up to 80 shoeboxes filled with treats!

Thank you for joining us on our Easter blog. Whether you are celebrating with family and friends or embracing Spring’s gentle breezes and warm sunshine, we hope you all have a wonderful Easter!
