What’s On in Corby
- D-Day Party in the Park – Saturday 8th June @ Coronation Park, Corby
Join the Friends of Coronation Park in commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The Royal British Legion will open the event with a short service before you’re transported back to the 1940s with singing, dancing, and bands from local community groups. You can also explore the marketplace featuring craft stalls, a pop-up bar, and street-food traders. For more information on the event, click HERE.
- Little Learners Fest 2024 – Saturday 29th June @ Little Learners, Occupation Road
This promises to be an afternoon of family fun! There will be a BBQ, a bar, live music, circus-themed entertainment, and a raffle. All money raised will go towards the family of Felicity, who has been recently diagnosed with a rare brain tumour. The funds will help with travel costs so Felicity can get the treatment she needs. Felicity is battling bravely and is so excited to see everyone at this year’s Little Learners Fest. For more information, visit HERE.
- Family Fun Day – Sunday 30th June @ East Carlton Country Park
Visit East Carlton Country Park and enjoy an afternoon of excitement, with everything from face paintings and a huge bouncy maze to a dog show. Hosted in the scenic backdrop of the country park, it’s an ideal place to spend quality time with family. For more information, visit HERE.
Lakeland’s Hospice is looking for brave hearts!
Have you got what it takes to conquer your fears and abseil down The National Lift Tower in Northampton?
This is the ultimate challenge that Lakeland Hospice in Corby is offering to anyone willing to fundraise and take part.
For an opportunity to abseil 418ft down the side of this iconic listed building, you just need to pay an initial deposit of £50 – and raise a minimum of £200. Spaces are also limited so we recommend booking quickly to avoid disappointment!
Lakeland Hospice is a part of Oakley Vale and a cherished part of our community for the work it does. The money raised here will go directly towards supporting and providing patient care in the local community. Without generous fundraising, Lakelands Hospice would not be able to take care of people with life-limiting illnesses.
So, embrace the challenge today! For more information on how to sign up for the challenge, visit HERE.
