Welcome to the September edition of our blog, which shows there’s no shortage of things to see and do right here in Corby.
We’re sadly bidding farewell to those long, hazy summer days in Corby and the memories they brought. The summer holidays are behind us, the leaves are beginning to turn, and the air feels a little crisper. But as a brand new school year gets into full swing, our community is still humming with fun.
There’s lots to celebrate, from our local heroes, sporting champions, to some brilliant academic achievements on the recent Results Day.
We’ve also got a fantastic lineup of events for everyone, whether you’re looking for family-friendly fun, an evening out, or a way to support local causes.
So, get that pumpkin spice flowing and put those sunny days to rest. Sweater season is incoming, and we’ve got a great selection of things to enjoy as autumn beckons in Corby…

But first, a moment to celebrate students across Corby this Results Day
Congratulations to everyone who received their A Levels, GCSEs, and vocational results here in and around Corby!
Whatever your result, you should be proud of the hard work and dedication you put in.
It was a brilliant year for local Oakley Vale students. We saw over 90% of students at Brooke Weston Academy earning a place at their preferred university or next step, and we’re celebrating the resilience and character growth shown at Corby Business Academy, in a glowing set of results.
