Happy Friday everyone!
Another week is behind us – which means the weekend lays ahead. What’re you up to this weekend? Perhaps a visit to the Corby Cube, or a walk in one of Corby’s woods with the family?
Whatever you’re doing we hope you have a great time – and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for that perfect picture. More on that below:
A new photo competition!
After the announcement of our latest photo competition winner – Claire Sager – we have a new theme for the latest competition. It is Springtime in Oakley Vale and you have until mid-May to submit your entries.
Please remember – we have had a few people submit the same photo multiple times, please be assured that after you’ve submitted it once, it has reached us. We verify and approve each photo, which is why the photo doesn’t appear straight away – but have faith it has worked!
People of Oakley Vale
You may have noticed investigating our website that we have an I Love It Here page. This is where we have invited the people who make Oakley Vale what it is, to tell us why they love living and working in the community.
It just so happens that one of the residents profiled is Claire Sager – who won our latest photo competition! Here’s a snippet of what she had to say about Oakley Vale:
“It is perfect for our children, feels safe, has as amazing community feel and within minutes of beautiful scenery. I love landscape and nature photography and Oakley Vale is an ideal base to venture with the kids. The people of Oakley Vale / Corby are amazing, generous and kind-hearted.”
